KEREN DUKES

 

A multifaceted and ever-curious creature, Miss Dukes hails from Baltimore, Maryland and is known, among other things, to be imaginative; a collector of antique books, a friend of God, fencing fanatic, lover of classical literature, marine biology and all things equestrian. After graduating from The Conservatory of Theatre Arts and Film at SUNY Purchase, Keren made her Broadway Debut as part of the original Broadway cast of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time which won 6 Tony Awards, 6 Drama Desk Awards, 5 Outer Critics Circle Awards, and a Drama Desk Award. Because of her love for farm life, she worked as the alternate Goat and Chicken Handler for Broadway's Once on this Island. Keren has also worked in television and film, guest-starring on shows such as The Good Wife, Damages, Person of Interest, Elementary, and Madam Secretary and appearing opposite Vince Vaughn in the film Brawl in Cell Block 99 which was nominated as Best Thriller Film by the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films (US). Currently, her voice can be heard in numerous commercials and as the ongoing voice for a new spinoff network of TV One called Cleo TV which premiered January 2019. Miss Dukes is most honored to be part of a visionary collective of visual artists, performers and young professionals building an inclusive, unconventional ministry in Harlem, New York called The Rock Church Harlem!
